“Mr. Sandro, some teachers here go home at night just to prepare the materials that they will be needed on their class in the next morning”, said by Ms. Medina, one of my mentors at Kesatuan Bangsa. Indeed, this holds true as I saw it everyday in my one-month stay there in Indonesia. The teachers prepare their instructional materials a week or days before they implement the lesson plan. They would usually download the videos that he/she will be using on the day of his/her teaching and making sure that all assessment tools are ready. For an instance, Ms. Hida, my cooperating teacher, would sometimes post the link of the game quiz on her google classroom so that she will just announce it to the students that she already put the link of the quiz there right after the discussion.

There are also some teachers who are firm believers of cooperative learning and constructivism, who already put all the materials in a plastic envelope that their student will use in the group activity before they enter the classroom. The also see to it that the the speakers and projector are functioning well.

Some teachers draft a semi detailed lesson plan for them to be guided accordingly. The format of them would usually depend on the topic and the needs of the student.
