Kesatuan Bangsa School is located in Jalan Wates Km 10 Argomulyo,Jogjakarta, Indonesia .
This institution is SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama / In-Cooperation Educational Institution), this means that the school has a cooperation with overseas private educational institution. This status allows the school to have several privileges such as modifying their curriculum and policies according to their needs.Unlike state schools which are supervised layers of department by Ministry of Youth and Sports, SPK schools is under direct supervision of Ministry of Education and Culture.
Kesatuan Bangsa School has implemented a bilingual study system with Bahasa Indonesia and English as the official languages. It is a Cambridge School that follows the national curriculum as well. It was established as an educational institution in 2011, with the aim of generating high school graduates able to take on roles in social and cultural life built on a foundation of noble character.
In terms of students’ demographic, Kesatuan Bangsa School students are very diverse, ranging from different ethnicity and even nationality. They came from different islands all over and outside Indonesia with different upbringing and cultures.
This is also a Google for Education School since it is in cooperation with Google to provide educational platform and online facilities for students.
In order to achieve this, Kesatuan Bangsa School has optimized an academic system that encourages students to pursue and continually develop their talents, and to reach their goals through the orientation of goal achievement throughout the learning process.
Consequently, it is very well-known for its achievement in national and international olympiad, science project competition, and student’s project competition both regional and international. Students are joining academic competitions, doing scientific research, and creating and performing artworks which are nationally and internationally acknowledged.
