In my lesson plan, I prepared some activities that would propel them to use their critical thinking. Meanwhile, I gave probing questions that really stimulated the students’ Higher-order-thinking Skills. I understand the importance of the “wait time” after throwing my question to them, that’s why I gave everyone the opportunity to think. If somebody was really in a hurry and he/she would like to answer the question, but his classmates are still thinking, I would usually tell him to hold his ideas as of the moment and wait for his classmates.

 

Furthermore, I also prepared group activity and worksheets for my students to work on. And these stuff required problem solving skills.
